The first page! 

Ahaha, you have no idea how much I was freaking out when I saw that this site was finally up and running.  <i> Kanpai! </i> is an idea that I've been kicking around for at least two years, so it's really exciting to see it finally onlineÉ.It's my first time trying to draw an actual series as well as my first time drawing a webcomic, soÉI'm not quite sure if it'll turn out okÉI hope it will! >.<

Over the next several weeks this site will get more and more detailed, but for now, here's the bare minimum: <i> Kanpai! <i> is an action/drama/friendship story set in the final years of Japan's feudal era.  As it goes on, it will contain violence, lots of (pretty bad) language, and some sexual situations, so I would advise against reading this if you're below high school age. 

The art for this page is not that greatÉI just wanted to get the webcomic set up in any way possible, so I took some shortcuts with the inking and shading. (And it shows. >.<)  You can expect better quality art in the future, I promise!

There's a whoooole lot more I want to talk about, but this section is long enough.  Thanks for checking out the first page of <i> Kanpai, Neechan! </i>, and if some of you came back for the second page (and on after that), thenÉ. that's all I want.  (Next time I'll try to explain why a 15 year old girl from Iowa is doing a historical Japanese comic in the first placeÉ-_-;;)
